Credit Quality Auditor
The Quality Auditor is responsible for reviewing, confirming, and reporting compliance with process or procedure requirements, Quality certifications, and / or Accenture Delivery methodology.
Profile / Role Description
· Perform prudent analysis of all Loan applications to render QC Audit Results consistent with the Corporate Rules Governing Extension of Credit, credit policies, Government Lending Policies, and procedures, and all applicable Federal/Regulatory guidelines (ECOA, Fair Lending, CRA, FCRA, etc.)
· Assist with conducting audits of completed fulfillment files meeting weekly and month end production goals.
· Reporting out of audit results for comprehensive evaluation of skill set, training needs, and performance action plans.
· Participate in the development and implementation of new and/or revisions to policies and procedures.
· Report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards.
Performance Evaluations:
· Collaborate on the development and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
· Identify and document actions / processes taken to resolve compliance variances and gaps.
· Contribute to audit process and reporting improvement.
Training:
· Training resource for ongoing and continuing education / performance improvement
Report
· Assess relevant training needs for staff individuals and organization.
· Produce organizational strategy and plans to meet training and development needs.
· Collaborate with Training Department around courses and programs necessary to meet agent needs.
· Potential to become liaison with other departmental managers to understand all necessary aspects and needs of staff training and development, and to ensure they are fully informed of staff training and development objectives, purposes and achievements.
Basic Qualifications
· 5+ years of fulfillment delivery in an underwriting role
· 3+ years Training / Mentoring experience
· 5+ years of fulfillment delivery in an underwriting role
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent
Professional Skill Requirements
· Seasoned underwriting experience and quality control review to include analysis of self-employed, high net worth applicant’s financial statement/summary, all property types including co-ops.
· Prior quality control experience to inspecting to process compliance and service level execution
· Extensive knowledge of industry guidelines and practices, including competitive offering, and all lending related Federal Regulatory guidelines.
· Must possess excellent / polished written / verbal communication skills, thorough knowledge of credit scoring and its impacts, ancillary systems and ability/knowledge to balance risk/reward.
