An opportunity has arisen for a Lending Manager to join a well established finance business based in South Yorkshire.
This is a newly created role within a highly successful organisation where you will work with one of the company Directors to create and develop the motor finance lending department. You will be responsible for creating a panel of trusted lenders, setting up procedures and software, recruiting and training a team of underwriters and overseeing the day to day operational duties to create a profit making team / department.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within motor finance lending / underwriting and ideally have experience of managing a team, creating procedures and external partner development. An excellent knowledge of regulations within the motor finance industry is essential including FSA, Consumer Credit Act, Hire Purchase Act and Sales of Goods Act.
Candidates must be highly motivated, target driven and approachable and have the passion to develop and drive forward a new division to this successful organisation.
Basic salary between £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits.
