Mould and Process Engineer Job in Leeds, Yorkshire UK
Our client is one of the UK’s leading provider of global moulding soultions consultancy for the Medical, Packaging FMCG makets. Having enjoyed planned and steady growth our client is now looking for an addidtional Mould Process Engineer to work within the busy and vibrant team.
The role;
To deliver highly practical consultancy to blue chip clients within the medical, packaging and FMCG sectors. To be a lead player with the design and manufacture of complex multi cavity injection mould tools and processes.
The successful candidate will have the following skills or experiences;
· Educated to degree level within mechanical engineering but preferably Polymer Science Engineering.
· Desirable 3 years experience in Scientific Processing/Mould Design or Mould Management within the Medical/Packaging or FMCG but not the Automotive Industry.
· Ability to oversee and coordinate Mould Trials along with design reviews.
· Complete Design for Manufacture (DFM) Studies on part concepts.
· The ability to challenge and discuss issues with customers suppliers at a technical level.
· Understanding of manuafcturing processes, such as Lean, Six Sigma and TPM.
· Abilty to travel globally, including Asia Americas.
