Job Responsibilities

 

Meet with potential customers (homeowners) to advise on all aspects of the relocation process, perform surveys of items to be moved, and provide timely and accurate estimates/pricing

Provide timely follow up with potential customers

Update and maintain sales management system on a daily basis

Maintain automated handheld pricing system

Clearly and accurately communicate customers’ needs and expectations to Move Coordinators

Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner

Work closely with Move Coordinators to ensure customer satisfaction

Tend to all service issues, including those that arise outside of normal business hours

This position requires approximately 85% travel – mostly within the local area

Network throughout the community to generate new business

 

Job Qualifications

 

Ability to work independently and effectively manage sales schedule and pipeline

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability and willingness to sometimes work outside of normal business hours to accommodate customers’ schedules

Solid negotiation and interpersonal skills

Strong customer service background and proven sales record

Proven ability to successfully manage conflict and resolve issues 

Ability to understand contracts, tariffs, pricing strategies, and current market trends 

Knowledgeable of the moving industry and the relocation process 

Basic computer experience

Valid driver’s license

High School Diploma
