Ability to Obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Boeing is seeking an entry-level laboratory chemist for the Materials Processes organization. This chemist will perform routine receiving inspection analysis of incoming materials before they are cleared for use in the factory. Excellent laboratory practices are required in order to yield consistent results. In addition, this chemist will conducts routine analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. He/she will assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for these failures. He/she will assist in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs, specifically in the development and qualification of new materials to meet customer requirements. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have experience or completed coursework in analytical chemistry? Typical Education/Experience Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years experience or a Master's degree with experience.
