MRI Quality Assurance Analyst II
Description
- Verifies proper documentation of use cases, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, testing and release notes for MRI software enhancements.
- Receives test cases/scripts from Developers, and maintains test cases/scripts for software functionality from use cases.
- Develops and maintains test data sets.
- Performs integration, user acceptance and regression testing of MRI software enhancements and new software versions
- Analyzes test results, troubleshoot and can document change requests.
- Designs tests for installations and upgrades.
- Implements automated testing where applicable.
- Responsible for MRI Change Management processes, including setup and maintenance of MRI Team and Public SharePoint sites, and management of MRI Development Enhancement, bug fixes and Change requests in SharePoint.
- Performs MRI administrative duties, including MRI user hierarchy and account administration, amenity maintenance, ad-hoc and monthly reporting, maintenance of automated reports and scheduled jobs, maintenance and data integrity checks of MRI tables, ad-hoc and support query requests.
- Working in an Agile/Scrum environment, the MRI QA Analyst analyses, designs, tests, documents, and deploys MRI software application updates, enhancements, fixes, and reports.
- Serves as Business Analyst for large scale IT initiatives related to property management applications, including analysis, communications with Stakeholders and implementation of initiatives, and works with other management teams for successful implementation of those initiatives.
- Serves as Project Lead (Scrummaster") for MRI development team. Collaborates daily with other ScrumMasters, MRI Business Analysts / Developers, MRI Support Specialists, Product Owners and Stakeholders to clarify program intent, identify problems, recommend changes and determine the extent of programming and coding required.
- Participates in planning meetings to determine what will be worked on during the monthly programming period (Sprint"), by analyzing the requirements of open projects, then breaking the projects down into smaller tasks, and working with MRI Business Analyst / Developers to accurately estimate the level of effort required to deliver deployable code for each task, consistently delivered on time and with a continuous attention to technical excellence and good design.
- Participate in regular programming and process review meetings to discuss areas that are going well, and areas that can be improved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or related field from four-year college or university; and five years software development, business analysis and/or testing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in MRI
- Experience with SharePoint preferred.
- Experience with SQL and SQL Server.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology preferred.
- Knowledge of other real estate property management applications preferred.
- Knowledge of enterprise product management concepts.
- Excellent design and planning skills required.
- Good documentation skills required.
- Knowledge of testing processes, methods and tools
- Strong team player, contributes to building a positive team spirit.
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access skills.
- Basic Accounting skills.
- Advanced Windows and MS SQL skills
- The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
