Primary Job Responsibilities PayPal Engineering Services is looking for outstanding software engineers with a strong command of Java / Python in a cloud environment to help lead the ongoing design and development of our IAAS solutions for our private cloud. . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding IT infrastructure, virtualization technologies, networking, and cloud solutions such as Cisco CIAC, HP matrix or Openstack. Exceptional problem solving abilities will be critical for success. In our environment, quality is everyone's responsibility. The successful candidate will participate in the entire life cycle of a product ranging from architecture through testing and live support. The successful candidate will: Work with internal customer to define requirements / user stories. Drive both high-level and detailed technical design documents and conduct design reviews. Implement solutions to address the needs of the PayPal technologist. Provide technical guidance to other software engineer. Employ technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problem.
