Primary Job Responsibilities PayPal is the largest, global web-based payment web site that millions of people use every day. The web development team is seeking a qualified and dedicated senior web developer with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Working with cross functional teams of designers, engineers and product managers, you will be defining the future of online payments while pushing the limits of web development. Your ability to be creative and resourceful in problem solving while working effectively with a range of technical backgrounds is extremely important in this position. You will be developing complex data driven consumer facing applications while taking into account site speed, user experience, product strategy, and what the latest web technologies can offer us. At times there will be a need for developing quick end to end prototypes and constantly pushing the edge of what's possible is a requirement for this position. On the infrastructure side, we need help to enable the rest of the web development team by improving the environment, managing branches and stages, and assisting with development of technological infrastructure on the presentation layer.
