Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager: Portfolio Strategy Team recruitment
SEI Investments, a leading provider of multi-manager investment strategies with more than $150 billion in assets under management worldwide, is seeking a Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager. The successful applicant will play a key leadership role in the continued development of SEI’s Objective–Based Asset Allocation platform through manager evaluation and selection, on-going monitoring, fund reporting and marketing support. As a senior member of the Portfolio Strategy Team, the successful applicant will also help to prioritize research initiatives, manage investment positions, and develop new investment products and models.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing management of multi-asset portfolios for individual and institutional investors in all parts of the world.
- Serve as a product expert at internal and client meetings, prospective client meetings (including finals presentations), consultant meetings and industry conferences
- Undertake all aspects of manager research process – reviewing materials, analyzing portfolios, meeting managers, etc in accordance with SEI investment process
- Contribute as a senior member of the Portfolio Strategy Team to the development of investment views and management of investment positions.
- Provide thought leadership in the form of research papers and presentations. .Contribute to quantitative modeling of key asset allocation decisions and also to the development of model inputs
- Collaborate with other internal teams to leverage our asset allocation processes across a variety of client portfolios
- Contribute to the prioritization and execution of new initiatives, including new product development.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of asset allocation and characteristics of asset classes
- At least seven years experience working in an investment decision making role within the asset management or multi-manager industry with an emphasis on asset allocation strategy and portfolio construction.
- Advanced knowledge of risk management concepts.
- Ability to produce original research and strong financial modeling skills.
- High level of insight into investment market developments.
- Excellent working knowledge of investment strategies and investment markets. Location and Travel Must be willing to relocate to SEI’s corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia.
Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
