Multi-Lingual European Accountant
Our fast growing client based in Corby, Northamptonshire, seeks a stand alone, Multi-lingual European Accountant to manage their Finance function across the UK, France, Italy and Germany. As a niche, US owned organisation, this small company can offer a friendly and very flexible work environment. Global turnover of the organisation is £50mil, with £10mil turnover in Europe.
The successful candidate will be required to use their considerable professional acumen when working with multi-currency, accounts receivable for Europe, submission and reporting of data to local Government authorities and external accounts, auditing and overseeing all UK and European tax and regulatory/compliance issues.
This is a hands on role – you are the finance function and will be completely responsible for the Finance Function for the UK and European operations on a day to day basis, reporting into the US.
An accounting qualification is preferred, but part qualified or qualified by experience are considered.
The ideal person will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels across the business. The ideal candidate will speak French, Italian or German or at least one of the languages. If you are interested in the role but do not speak a language then recent European accounting is essential.
