Role: Systems Analyst - PL/SQL

Job Description:

The Systems Analyst - Merchandising Systems will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, maintenance and support of software applications. 

* 3-5 years of experience in Information Services.
* Strong experience with PL/SQL and SQL is required in PLSQL programming is required; - procedures, packages, triggers, functions. 
* E/R modeling. 
* Experience with Oracle 10 and 11g environment preferred. 
* Experience using JAVA a plus, but not required. 
* Experience with Unix scripts, and report experience like Oracle Reports or UML would be a plus. 
* Experience using Web Focus a plus. 
* Excellent skills in writing, maintaining, testing and debugging code in applicable programming languages. 
* Experience with Oracle relational databases. 
* Ability to apply Object-Oriented analysis and design. 
* Knowledge of Linux operating systems a plus. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
* Requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation. 
* Gains necessary input/approval of requirements and design and participates in code reviews. 
* Ensures applications meet requirements and is error free. 
* Develops technical system documentation. 
* Ensures that applications meet the architectural standards. 
* Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects. 
* Looks for ways to enhance design of application for better maintainability and software reuse. 
* Looks for ways to incrementally improve the architecture of legacy systems. 
* Manages workload to deliver quality deliverables that meet requirements and timelines. 
* Communicates status of assignments to supervisor. 
* Notifies supervisor of issues that impact productivity or ability to meet expectations. 
* Assists Manager in tracking progress, prioritizing work, developing time estimates and work plans and assisting less experienced team members 
* Resolves issues or escalates to Manager, if necessary. 
* Checks work in to central repositories. 

Qualification: 
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience. 

Position 2

Role: Sr. Programmer Analyst - PL/SQL 

Job Description:

Position 3 

Role: Sr. Programmer Analyst * Oracle / WebFocus 

Job Description:

This position will design, develop and test solutions for required projects and create system-level technical test plans and documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience designing logical or physical data models. Data warehouse knowledge and web focus skills are plus. Experience with object-oriented programming is also a plus. Position 4

Role: Sr. Programmer Analyst - C/Java 

Job Description:

* 4+ years of experience in applications development. 
* Experience developing software using 'C' and embedded SQL (Pro*C) in a UNIX (AIX) environment to manipulate data in an Oracle database. 
* Experience with JAVA and WNS would be plus 
* Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language and database. 
* Understands the systems development process. 
* Capable of writing thorough system and unit test plans. 
* Ability to coordinate and administer tasks related to smaller projects. 
* Understanding of general business concepts and user procedures. 
* Ability to support/install software applications/operating systems. 
* Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 
* Participates in software test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. 
* Primary job function typically requires exercising independent judgment. 
* Relies on personal judgment and supervisor input to perform the functions of the job. 
* Good written, oral, and listening communication skills. 
* Team player. 
* Customer service driven. 

Qualification: 
* An undergraduate degree is preferred.

Role: Sr. Programmer Analyst - Store Systems

Job Description:

The Sr. Programmer Analyst will also create system level technical test plans and documentation and will help with the development of technical skills of other team members. The role will also support production systems. 

* 5+ years of experience in Information Services. 
* 3+ years of experience in C programming. 
* 2+ years of experience using Eclipse. 
* 2+ years of experience with Linux operating system and bash scripting.
* Ability to design effective systems based on user requirements. 
* Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language and database. 
* Understands the systems development process. 
* Capable of writing thorough system and unit test plans. 
* Good written, oral, and listening communication skills. 
* Ability to coordinate and administer tasks related to smaller projects. 
* Understanding of general business concepts and user procedures.
