Reporting into senior management within the business, several opportunities have arisen in Hong Kong and Singapore within leading international and regional firms looking for experienced credit professionals covering Financial Institutions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit due diligence and analysis, prepare/review FI counterparty credit reviews including client visits
- Maintain the integrity of the portfolio through quality analysis of prospective exposure and proactive monitoring
- Present larger/complex credit papers to the credit committee
- Provide reports on limits/utilizations of the existing portfolio on a regular basis to highlight risk issues such as appeals by business units and rating downgrades
- Maintain the integrity of the credit risk function whilst continuing to fully support the Front Office
- Manage and develop junior team members
- Where sector difficulties or client specific difficulties are identified, provide guidance to ensure the appropriate action is taken to mitigate credit risks
Requirements:
- 4 – 8 years Credit experience, (at least 4 years FI sector coverage)
- Confident, assured and business facing credit mindset
- Ability to work within a regional remit
- Degree Holders preferred
- Asian Language skills (either Mandarin, Korean or Japanese) are preferred
