Multiple Positions – RAD Developer, Investment Banking, Singapore recruitment
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the delivery team to develop and support a high number of applications
- Create solutions and POC applications that are to be delivered to the risk teams
- Maintain a close relationship with the business in order to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- The role is a mix of development of new applications as well as supporting current critical front office applications
In order to be successful at this role, you must have experience in most of the following:
- Have worked within the Credit Risk function of a bank and possess an understanding of the Credit Risk process at the Trade book level
- Possess enterprise level VBA and Access programming skills
- Some experience of moving tactical application into a formalized C# environment would be an added advantage
- Track record in dealing with a large number of applications and an understanding of how application should be re-engineered / re-factored would be desirable
For this role it is not sufficient to just possess strong RAD tactical skills and an ability to interact with front office staff; the candidate must understand Credit Risk and how IT applications are used in that function
