Mumbai – Fidessa Technical Business Analyst recruitment
Market Operations and Technology (MOT) provides technology and market operations to Macquarie's businesses.
The role of Technical Business Analyst will work closely with the business to define the business requirements, assisting both development team and testing team throughout the project delivery cycle. The person will act as the central point of contact between India business and core technical development teams in Macquarie Asia and Macquarie Australia.
Key accountabilities/principal responsibilities include:
- Communicate and consult with business representatives to gather and interpret requirements.
- Validate and document business requirements.
- Work with Technical Project Manager to aid in the day to day management of the systems analysis, design, development and test process within a team environment.
- Liaising with a variety of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including senior project/program stakeholders.
- Support development teams by providing clarity on requirements where necessary.
- Carry out Fidessa software development.
- Assist in system and integration testing.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Test cycles.
- Support the Macquarie Securities Group strategy by identifying strategic impacts of the project.
Key skills and knowledge areas required:
- Previous experience as a Business Analysts in the delivery of projects within a Cash or Derivative business.
- In depth knowledge of Asian Cash Equity and some knowledge of derivative products, along with the various financial instruments used to hedge these products.
- Knowledge of front/middle/back office processes like trade execution and settlement.
- Good knowledge and hands on experience on Fidessa trading platform absolute advantageous.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and take a pro-active approach to knowledge building both in relation to the business and systems landscape.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem solving skills, with accurate decision making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to facilitate and lead workshops.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Effective communication, relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound knowledge of project methodologies, frameworks and tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering and Finance.
