JOB DESCRIPTION
A U.S. Investment Bank is proactively seeking a Municipal Bond Quant to join their Municipal Bond Desk. The team is looking to expand and would like to bring on a Ph.D. or MSc. experienced quant to join their team. They are looking for a candidate with fixed income, credit and interest rates experience. This team is a front office role and is looking for the exceptional candidate to join their team.
Location: New York, USA
The role:
- Design, implement and develop municipal and corporate bond models
- Create hedging strategies and implement models accordingly
- Work very closely with traders, researchers and other parts of the business
- Excellent knowledge of fixed income, interest rates and credit products
- Strong pricing background and knowledge of derivatives products
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or multiple M.S in a quantitative field.
- MUST have minimum of 2 years of experience
- Excellent C++ programming skills.
- Excellent communication skills in order to express complicated methodologies to the business.
