Selby Jennings are currently running an exclusive campaign to find an experienced Murex implementation environment manager to run the management of test, UAT and pre-production environments for a Murex implementation project for one of the most prestigious establishments based in the Middle East. The objective of the project is to deliver a new Murex 3.11 system into the bank and have the system installed and running in 18 months. The Murex Implementation Environment Manager will be expected to run the front to back co-ordination and take ownership of the test environments through liaison with implementation team, infrastructure team and vendor to deliver a new front to back Murex system. The Murex Implementation Environment Manager will be expected to be the main POC for Release Management, Testing and UAT teams with respect to end to end test scheduling and execution. This is a major project with the complete backing of the business and the Murex Implementation Environment Manager will be expected To stick to tight development deadlines set by senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities for the Murex Implementation Environment Manager – Greenfield Implementation – Middle East

- Management of test, UAT and pre-production environments for a Murex implementation project
- Front to back co-ordination and ownership of the test environments through liaison with implementation team, infrastructure team and vendor to ensure that business requirements are being met and best practices are being maintained
- Be the main POC for Release Management, Testing and UAT teams with respect to end to end test schedulingand execution
The person: Murex Implementation Environment Manager – Greenfield Implementation – Middle East

- Excellent Environment Manager experience within a banking and Murex environment
- Excellent experience running controlled releases into a test/production environment
- DBA experience, preferably Oracle
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux to scripting level
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills ; Good team player
- Knowledge of source code control systems and automation tools, (ie ClearCase )
