MUREX INTEGRATION HEAD
To be considered for this role you must have strong experience on design and implementation of large scale complex system development in Murex with hands-on experience on Murex 2.11 / Mx.3 versions. You will be in-charge of Delivery Management of any work involving Derivatives Changes (front to back through Murex)
Main Duties:
- Responsibility of overseeing all Derivatives changes within Murex.
- Management Status Reporting for all Derivatives changes and resource allocation updates
- Evaluation of Functional Specifications involving Derivatives changes.
- Drafting of the Technical Specifications for Derivatives changes.
- Attendance at Murex Management Meetings to define strategy and application roadmap.
- Management of the Derivatives stakeholders and representing a single point of contact for them within the team.
- Work as a leading or major contributor to drive development assignments and solve issues
- Provide guidelines and coaching to junior developers on their daily work and career development
- Conduct or participate in requirement analysis with business analysts and end users
- Contribute to reengineering initiatives to address deficiencies in existing system and apply better design principals
- Define, monitor and enhance development processes to improve overall team performance in a global environment
- Coordinate with other teams in technology regarding deployment, interfaces and other development activities
You should have:
- 8 – 10 years Hands-on experience on Murex 2.11 / Mx.3 versions
- Investment banking / Derivatives / Derivatives
- Trade and Settlement life cycle on the Financial Markets.
- Front, Middle and Back office processes (trade insert, front to back integration, trade validation, fixing, settlements, accounting, confirmation, clearing)
- SWIFT messaging and integration
- Project Management Experience
- Familiarity with both an Agile and Waterfall project methodology approach
- Project Estimation and Planning
- Strong abilities on problem solving and constructive thinking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
- Strong skills on communication in both written and oral English
