My client has recently embarked on a large scale transformation programme to double in size, they will be strengthen their already prevalent Australian businesses but will also grow their APAC presence to become a serious global markets player in the region. In order to do so they must ensure their IT systems are highly performant.
The successful candidate will be part of an elite team of Murex specialists who consult directly with all users of the platform in order to assess their frustrations before suggesting and implementing systems upgrades. You will also represent the Murex design team during workshops and committee meetings and develop process and business solutions that deliver transformational change.
This is a highly business visible role requiring the successful candidate to function with a great deal of autonomy. You must use your honed interpretation and analysis skills while capturing detailed business requirements and functional specifications and liaise/communicate with teams across the organisation with minimal direction from management or stakeholder(s).
Requirements of the role:
- Strong Murex knowledge in either or all of the following components:
- Datamart Reporting
- MxML
- Market Data (MDRS MDCS)
- Strong technical background in Unix, Shell scripting, T-SQL (Sybase)
- Ability to analyse current process and recommend better solutions
- Strong analytical skills
- Have had past exposure to various murex upgrades.
- Working closely with stakeholders to ascertain requirements
- Work closely with Upgrade Manager for day to day assignments and ensure regular status reporting
