Murex Team Manager recruitment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

• Continually enhance the delivery of services to the IRD and FXO businesses through the ongoing analysis of the business requirements as related to technology. Develop need based assessments, recommend solutions, and structure projects.

• Initiate new projects based on business needs, including business cases, project proposals, resource plans, and business analysis.

• Build and manage the team, including planning, guidance, informal feedback, written appraisals, coaching, and development. Provide professional and technical leadership to the team. Develop a cohesive work culture where collaboration and measured risk taking are encouraged.

• Responsible for working with the business and relevant product BAs and Developers to prepare, prioritize, and monitor development change requests (book of works) and projects.

• Manage the project planning and execution of development change requests (book of works) and projects

• Knowledge of Murex or another major derivative vendor system. Experience with the implementation of a major derivative system (vendor or proprietary) preferred.

• Excellent knowledge of the SDLC in all aspects.

• Significant experience writing business documents such as function specifications, technical specifications, project plans and proposals, and management reports.

• Required to have project management and reporting experience.  Project management certification preferred, but not necessary.

• Experience engaging other functions outside of a direct reporting structure through proactive involvement and feedback solicitation
