MUTUAL FUNDS ANALYST – Scandinavian Speaker recruitment

The Role:

Bloomberg Global Data is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the European Mutual Funds team. This group provides real time market data which is used by our clients to make informed investment decisions.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for procuring mutual fund related information, such as pricing, assets and descriptive data, which is available from the fund management companies and fund administrators. You will have extensive interaction with clients and external data contacts. The role also provides the opportunity to work with our sales force, news bureau, and other internal product groups to develop product ideas and increase our coverage of the mutual funds market. For this position we are looking for a dedicated, self starting candidate with strong team working skills.

Responsibilities:

- Sourcing and qualifying relevant EMEA fund information
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and fund companies
- Updating and processing data onto the Bloomberg database adhering to time sensitivity
- Maintaining and enhancing the existing database
- Responding to client queries

Qualifications:

- Fluency in Scandinavian language is essential (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to initiate and maintain long lasting business relationships
- Knowledge of mutual funds a plus
- Keen interest in financial markets essential
- Other language skills such as Turkish, Eastern or Western European would also be beneficial
