N-Seal R&D Engineer Job in Temecula 92589, California Us

This position will support N-Seal product development and implementation of new technologies with a focus on:
* Maintains a safe working environment, recognizes safety concerns, and openly addresses issues with the team
* Develop products and components from the concept stage, through design and final fabrication, to address defined equipment needs
* Develop and implement evaluation strategies for current and new products through testing and analysis
* Manage development projects to schedule, budget, and objectives
* Develops detailed designs using advanced design methods for new design components and test equipment
* Work hands on with lab personnel, Hot Shop, field service group, and turn-key services as needed
* Oversees and facilitates design reviews and acts as core team member on product development projects during gate reviews
* Communicates specific/detailed developments and test activities from specification to test report
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
* 6+ years of experience in related field or advanced degree in engineering
- Experience performing FEA and/or CFD a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Evaluates and accepts technical risks for design projects
* Familiarity of mechanical seals, pumps, and rotating equipment a plus
* Proficient with AutoCAD with experience with Inventor a plus
* Familiarity with Data Acquisition Systems and instrumentation
* Ability to evaluate results of FEA and CFD reports
* Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down, and across organizational lines
* Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact based decisions
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft office suite software (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.).
Education/Certification:
- BSME degree or equivalent experience
