Job Description

BRM is responsible for management of the firm's financial resources within ISG Sales Trading and is positioned at the core of transaction flows to ensure proper and consistent allocation and pricing of these resources across market facing businesses.

Within BRM Product Control, the Derivatives Funding Controller team acts as a key part of Finance to provide guardianship and support to Finance's agenda in the derivatives funding area as well as business partnership to new initiatives, development and implementation of platform build out, technology renovation and reporting metrics. This candidate will be working in a dynamic environment, developming various new processes.

We are currently looking for a strong candidate to work within Morgan Stanley's Global Funding Control (GFC) Group in the Finance department.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Participation in BRM Management meetings
• MCR and Due Diligence management
• BTR review and Escalation
• GL account ownership and sign-off
• Management of OTC Client Clearing as a business
• Participation in BU meetings and support
• Development and maintenance of analytical PL reports
• Responsible for interactions with Accounting Policy and GASC in relation to Global OTC Derivatives
•Regulatory submissions review and analysis
•Ownership of booking model changes as a result of Dodd Frank
•Participation and documentation of OTC Client Clearing testing
•SOX, Internal External Audit Certification
•Participate and execute on the Credit Department Basel III Initiative relating to Global Clearing Organizations

•Strong verbal and written communication skills (able to clearly and concisely summarize complex topics)

- Accounting /Finance degree, Public Accounting Experience a plus
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry (OTC and Listed Derivatives product experience, Management Reporting)
