Henkels McCoy, Inc., one of the largest privately held international utility contracting firms, with offices in 80 cities and celebrating more than 85 years of operating with a reputation as one of the most reliable and innovative firms in engineering and construction, is currently seeking a National Account Executive (NAE) for the Chicago area.
This position has direct responsibility for growing HM Networks' lines of Infrastructure services. Primary responsibility involves penetration, cultivation and management of selected National Enterprise Corporations and major System Integrator firms headquartered in Chicago and other locations throughout the Mid United States. Moderate travel is required for this position. Qualified candidates need to possess demonstrated experience in National Account and/or Strategic Account Leadership, specifically within integrated infrastructure solutions and services. These services can include the following technology areas: Wireless - Wi-Fi/DAS, Structured Cabling, Datacenter and Unified Communications environments.
- Account Leadership - As HM Networks' senior relationship executive within this portfolio of select accounts, individual will continually utilize senior-level, consultative selling techniques to discover key customer requirements from the "C" level and senior operating ranks within these accounts. Knowledge gained will in turn permit optimal design, development and deployment of our solution set.
- Full achievement of all FY revenue, margin and "objectives" requirements at both territorial and Line of Service(s) level.
- Collaboration and Teaming Leadership - Our NAE will continually probe to uncover client's vital operational, financial and competitive pain points, and manage the timely introduction of our company's cadre of technical operational professionals into the relationship, in order to thoroughly understand and address the areas of prime importance.
- High comfort and effectiveness within senior executive levels - These attributes need to be present in both external (customer) as well as internal (HM) environments. Our Corporation's 87 years of discovery, design and deployment expertise and performance has built a highly-regarded national infrastructure business, and our corporate capabilities align well when matched against a customer's vision, strategy and execution landscape. Our Strategic Sales Executive creates and manages this alignment within each account as well.
- Ability to collaborate with peers and support development of strategies to ensure our company's success positioning in our very dynamic markets.
- 8-12 years of consistent and demonstrated success in network infrastructure solution/services sales into one or more of the following communities - National Account, Strategic Account, National System Solution Integrators.
- Bachelor Degree required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a necessity.
- Solid business technical (application) aptitude - key attributes for understanding the many business, financial and operating challenges that our customer set is experiencing in their highly- competitive markets.
- Ideal candidate should possess market as well as technical knowledge of Wireless and Structured Cabling services and familiarity with Datacenter and VOIP operating environments.
- Experience using advanced concepts and models to clearly articulate how our value proposition satisfies the technical and operating requirements of our customer's environment.
- Experience working independently, away from headquarters, and taking advantage of our many advanced, remote communication and computing technologies and services.
- Deep appreciation of Project Management and Operations-related support teams and disciplines.
