National Account Manager

This is a fantastic commercial role with a growing food business supplying a range of chilled and ambient products into the market place. Reporting to the National Account Controller you’ll be managing your own retail accounts developing both new and existing business opportunities within the premium end of the food industry. You’ll conduct category reviews and deliver persuasive presentations to your customers, utilising your extensive retail sector knowledge to drive business forward. You’ll be the first point of contact for all your customers’ needs, providing monthly reports and forecasts to ensure their expectations are exceeded and solid relationships maintained. You’ll also work closely with internal NPD, Technical and Commercial teams to formulate successful strategies and write up business plans, demonstrating to your customers your full understanding of their vision whilst setting objectives to achieve mutual goals.
 
We are looking for an Account Manager who has previous experience of working for a food manufacturer, managing the UK retailer accounts within the food sector. Driven and motivated to achieve fantastic results you’ll have a proven track record of success in an FMCG sales environment, where you have impressed customers and colleagues alike with your excellent negotiation, influencing and project management skills.
