Job Description

This national account manager role involves managing the national relationships with their key mass merchant retail partners. You will report directly into the national sales manager and and will be responsible driving growth in revenue, market share, and profitability across all core product categories within this account portfolio. You will work together with the NSM on the development and implementation of the channel strategy across your major retail partners working on customer business plans. You will to develop strong relationships internally with the marketing, operations and finance teams and need to work closely with these stakeholders to deliver the business plan effectively across your account portfolio. The key responsibilities of the role include relationship management, planning, financial discipline and excellent communication with internal and external stake holders.

The Successful Applicant

This is an ideal role for an a national account executive / junior national account manager take a step up to drive their career forward with a market leader in consumer electronics. You will need to ideally be tertiary qualified with a minimum 3 years experience at National Account Executive / National Account Management from a Blue Chip FMCG background. You will need to be a naturally strong relationship builder and be highly analytical with a detailed knowledge of using AC Nielsen, Aztec, and Excel as a reporting tool. You will need strong trade negotiation, attention to detail and be have the ability to be a creative problem solver and have flexibility to travel on a regular basis to Melbourne.
