Objectives:
National Account Managers (NAM) will be the commercial leads for Industrial Scientific on the accounts for which they are responsible; that is, all commercial activity will be coordinated through / with them, and they have the final say on any commercial strategy at that account. Furthermore, the NAM will be assigned 15-25 accounts in the target industries of Iron Steel, Utilities (Electric, Water, Natural Gas), Paper Paper Products, Chemical Manufacturing, Construction, Above Ground Mining, Beverages, Diversified Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and large Municipalities.
This position will cover the mid-Atlantic region (Pittsburgh, Chicago, Columbus)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall account and relationship manager responsible for account strategy and coordination, opportunity identification, and account relationship. Often involved in aspects of solution development, contracting, and delivery for some or all offering groups.
- Selling iNet and driving the market towards a tipping point on Gas Detection as a Service in the following target market segments: (1) Selling iNet to the top ~250 accounts on the United States Strategic Account List, (2) Managing and renewing the United States iNet customers within the top ~250 accounts on the United States Strategic Account List, (3) Identifying and supporting the sale of Predictive Solutions by Predictive Solutions Account Executives within the top ~250 strategic accounts
- National Account Managers will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: (1) sales and business close strategies, (2) coordination of additional ISC resources to close and maintain business, (3) overall growth strategy for each account, and (4) management of references, to include growth of depth and breadth of ISC and customer relationships.
- National Account Managers will only assist in the sale of Fixed Systems if they are qualified by Sales Management to do so; if qualified, they will identify and support the sale of Fixed Systems through the Americas Fixed System Team.
Qualifications Required:

· Demonstrated aptitude for managing and growing senior-level relationships at end users
· Demonstrated commitment to selling service technical solutions (such as ISC iNet) with a corresponding record of historical success
· Demonstrated project management capabilities
· Bachelors degree in business, engineering or technical field
Qualifications Strongly Preferred:
- MBA
- Safety Industry or Gas detection experience (sales, customer service, or technical support) a plus
