National Account Manager – Grocery Multiples

 

Home based – access to the major motorway networks

 

Up to £45000 + 25% bonus + car + benefits

 

 

As a UK multinational with turnover measured in £billions, they have entered a period of exciting growth in terms of both profit and volume. To support this growth they require a sales account manager to join their established team.

 

Reporting to the National Account Controller, your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of a grocery multiple account, by developing and activating a sales strategy. You will be able to operate at a world class level and demonstrate true leadership, capability development and a strong sales focus at both strategic and tactical levels to develop business to a mutual advantage.

 

Ideal candidates will be from an FMCG background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. An ability to network and negotiate at a range of customer levels backed up with a grasp of category management is essential.

Given the potential size of this role you will need to demonstrate exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills. Ambition and career focus are essential too. You will currently be a Junior Account Manager or a National Account Manager looking for a bigger career opportunity.
