National Human Resources Advisor Job in Newcastle 2300, New South Wales Australia

Critical to the continued effective operation and performance of the business and approximately 400 employees, the Human Resources Advisor will manage all aspects of Human Resources and Industrial Relations nationally, within a heavy industrial and manufacturing environment.

Further, you will co-ordinate and support Manager's in their recruitment strategy across white and blue collar and lead workforce planning and development, lead performance management strategies and reviews, whilst building strong relationships across the business.

Ideally, you will have either a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, as well as extensive commercial experience gained in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Conversant with current IR legislation and managing complex HR issues in a similar environment, you will have strong industrial relations exposure, broad Human Resources expertise including performance management and development skills.

You also need to be a well organised, mature person who enjoys a busy, challenging, safety oriented environment. You must be accurate and have attention to detail, be able to work with deadlines and have excellent communication skills.
