NATIONAL MANAGER - FX, Local Business Banking, Sydney CBD
Leading a passionate and driven team requires a combination of flair, diplomacy and innovation. In this highly visible role, you will be charged with empowering and leading a business team that specialises in new business acquisition within Local Business Banking's Foreign Exchange sales into the SMEspace. Comprising of foreign exchange industry specialists across the country, your team will leverage off referrals from our SME Business Bankers to provide foreign exchange products and services. Working in conjunction with our wider market dealing teams,your teamwill provide a unique service offering to our SME FX clients. As a people leader, you will inspire creativity and take ownership of the career development of your staff. As a Sales enabler, you will lead our teams with an in-depth knowledge of the Foreign Exchange landscape, a flair for sales leadership/ pipeline business development and more importantly, a passion for closing the right deal.
To be considered for this role, you will:-
- Demonstrate previous commercial business development/ new client acquisition experience covering Foreign Exchange products to the SME sector
- Previous experience assessing the risks on new client FX opportunities, as well as assessing the risks associated with a current foreign exchange client portfolio
- Demonstrate a successful people management or leadership track record across multiple geographical locations
- Tier 1 accreditation RG146 with Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline. Other professional accreditation will also be highly regarded
- Possess a strong level of commercial acumen
- Possess professional written and verbal communication and client management skills
