About the Role:
Reporting to the CFO, the main responsibilities of this role are:
- Supervising a payroll team of 5-6 payroll officers.
- Month and year end payroll reporting as well as liaising with the HR and Finance functions.
- Monitoring the payment and reconciliation of all statutory and legislative obligations.
- Resolving all payroll related issues with employees.
- Managing the processing of termination payments and separation certificates.
- Enforcing all compliance requirements.
Key Skills and Requirements:
To be a successful candidate for this role you will have:
- At least 10 years payroll experience.
- At least 3 years supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in the construction or engineering industries.
- Exposure to Pronto.
- A comprehensive understanding and interpreting EBA's, awards and payroll tax.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
