National Sales Manager

NJ based International Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider creating new position for experienced sales professional. Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in domestic and/or international freight sales, with proven sales management track record. Must have an established account following and knowledge of all phases of the freight tranpsportation industry and the ability to introduct new customer opportunities. 

Responsibilities will include the establishment of sales objectives and quotas to increase the existing customer base, as well as recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining sales representatives in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; and enforcing sales force policies and procedures.
