Luv-a-Duck is Australia’s market leading producer of Duck products who has developed a reputation for quality, innovative products and a high profile brand. The Australian business has experienced significant growth in recent years and is looking to double the turnover of the business by 2015. As a result they are looking for a talented and driven National Sales Manager seeking a fresh challenge to join the team.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO you will lead a team of six state sales representatives, an outbound tele-sales team and a key account manager. Your primary responsibility will be the hands-on management and delivery of sales strategies and activities to drive growth, sales and profitability in the Australian market. You will also produce and deliver sales training programmes and be a strong coach and mentor to the sales team.

The Successful Applicant

You will have a strong track record of driving sales and profitability within an FMCG environment and ideally have sold through a variety of channels including grocery and independent retail, foodservice, HoReCa and distributors. You will be an inspirational leader and have managed both sales representatives and internal sales consultants. A key requirement will be your strong coaching and mentoring skills. Personal attributes needed are determination, drive to achieve results, creativity, and strong execution and be a real team player.
