Job Description:

 

National Maintenance Systems Inc., a National provider of exterior property
maintenance services throughout the country, has a unique opportunity for a Facility
Maintenance experienced sales professional with proven track record and experience
working with retail stores, chain stores and national outlets as well as property
and facility managers. Ideal candidates should have experience with the retail
industry and aspects of facilities management and be able to work independently
and with minimal direction. Compensation package consists of a base salary plus
performance bonus and will be commensurate with the level of experience and
qualifications. Job Location is in Pawtucket RI.

 

·                     Follow-up on outstanding proposals.

·                     Spend the majority of your time creating new leads and opportunities to secure additional business

·                     Respond in a timely and professional manner regarding all inquiries about the company’s services. Follow-up with written information as appropriate.

·                     Keep in continual contact with the National Operations Manager on developments or problems with any key accounts. Work to resolve issues in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.

·                     Update information into the sales management program including but not limited to account information, quotations, proposals, follow-up dates, sales development, etc.

·                     Review the sales management program to determine tickler file reminders.

·                     Maintain accurate timely expense account information including records and receipts.

·                     Attend and coordinate all budgeted and approved trade shows meeting with targeted accounts. Review results with the President.

·                     Participate in weekly staff meetings with the National Operations Manager and President, and be prepared to provide information about major customer activity and status bids.

·                     Travel and make sales calls in accordance with the approved marketing plan ensuring that logistical and economical factors have been incorporated in the schedule.

·                     Provide the National Operations Manager and President with a weekly progress reports.

·                     Participate in all national account bids and proposals.

·                     Perform special projects as deemed necessary by the National Operations Manager or the President.

·                     Complete quarterly reports that depict changes from the original marketing and sales plan. 

·                     Participate in developing annual sales program for national accounts, including promotions, travel and trade shows.

·                     Attend important industry events as directed by the National Operations Manager or President.

 

 

Desired Skills Experience

Minimum 5 years sales experience with large National Accounts preferably with Retail Stores.

·         Knowledge of retail industry personnel required

·         Excellent relationship building skills

·         Experience completing and submitting million+ dollar proposals and RFP’s

·         Strong track record of year over year sales growth.

·         Experience building business and sales revenue.

·         Organized, detail oriented and results-driven

·         Strong written and verbal skills, including developing presentations

·         Fundamental knowledge of facilities maintenance

·         Willing to travel a minimum of 40%
