Surgical Service Technician – Sterile Processing

Are you a certified sterile processing professional? Are you on your way toward certification or interested in it? We have an excellent opportunity available to join our National Service Technician team. PREZIO Health™ offers a new level of precision management for vital healthcare equipment assets, including endoscopic and surgical instruments to help ensure uninterrupted workflow and quality patient care. The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, diagnosing, and management of surgical instruments. This position requires the ability to do significant travel in support of our nationwide accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily processing and management of surgical instruments including: decontamination of instruments, instrument inspection, preventative maintenance and repair/ replacement processing; instrument set reassembly; instrument set transport and retrieval; and inventory maintenance
- Communicates effectively with customers; listens to customers’ needs and takes immediate action to meet them
· Demonstrates deep customer expertise; collaborates with appropriate parties to identify the drivers leading to business success.
· Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices
· Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions, services and products; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness
- Being on-call is required, call and holiday work is rotated
Requirements:
· Must possess experience or certification in one of the following: IAHCSMM, CBSPD or Surgical Technology
- Must be able to travel frequently
