Natural Gas Scheduler recruitment
Responsibilities of the position will include, but will not be limited to: performing gas control functions related to accurate and timely pipeline nominations; utilizing electronic bulletin boards to schedule product movement; monitoring and communicating pipeline operational information postings; monitoring and resolving volumetric discrepancies; monitoring and communicating producer supply changes; managing pipeline imbalances; optimizing pipeline capacities; entering and managing pipeline data in an internal accounting system; notifying supervisor and/or colleagues of issues requiring immediate attention; communicating pipeline tariff rate changes; reviewing and approving pipeline storage invoices; acting as a liaison to back off staff on pipeline and storage invoice reconciliation; and other duties as assigned or required. This position requires working before/after regular office hours including some work on holidays and/or weekends.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Advanced level Excel skills required
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to details with the ability to consistently provide accurate and timely work product
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines
- Aptitude to quickly learn new technical areas including new and existing software
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years progressive experience scheduling natural gas preferably with experience in the West and Tennessee.
