On behalf of one of the leading PE funds in the world, we are looking for a experienced senior associate to be based in Hong Kong.
My client is a leading European PE fund with an AUM of more than 5bn USD. They have established a presence in Asia about 10 years ago, and are not one of the most active funds in the region. From their headquarters in Hong Kong, they oversee investments into Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on China and emrging markets in SEA. The fund has a strong focus on agriculture and resources - (Oil Gas, Metals Mining, Energy, Coal).
As part of their expansion plans, they are looking to add a senior associate/junior VP to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to join a team of top tier professionals, to gain transactional experience and grow in their career
The role:
- Senior associate level hire based in Hong Kong
- 5 - 6 years of relevant experience
- Prior sector expertise in the following would be required: oil gas, agriculture, metals mining, coal, energy
- Pior experience in Private Equity or MA is required, strong consulting backgrounds may be considered as well
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must due to the nature of business. Native Mandarin speakers will be the most ideal
- Relocation will only be considered for exceptional candidates
- Candidates that do not fulfill the above criteria will not be considered
