Australian Maritime Systems is seeking an experienced tradesperson to join their team. Working mainly in the field, you will need to enjoy travel as you carry out a variety of tasks and activities relating to the inspection, repair, installation and maintenance of marine aids-tonavigation (lighthouses, beacons, buoys etc) plant and equipment.
To be successful you must be:
- Adaptable to flexible working arrangements;
- Trade qualified. (Electrical /Auto Electrician would be favorably considered, however all mechanical / electrical trades considered);
- Willingness to be trained in a wide range of marine aids-to navigation equipment its maintenance requirements;
- Physically fit for an active field role;
- Willing to travel by fixed and rotary wing aircraft and small vessels;
- Able to work at heights;
- A competent user of MS Office applications.
