NBFI Credit Analyst recruitment


A leading investment bank has opened up an exciting new role to work as a NBFI Credit Analyst in a well known bank. The role is part of the funds team and is one of the FI team ultimately reporting to the Head of EMEA Credit Risk. The role covers to undertake credit risk analysis of and assign credit ratings to funds/investment managers in different jurisdictions across EMEA. You will need great communication skills, and a great team player.

Role/Responsibilities:

- The on-boarding role would involve gathering all the information needed by CRM to carry out the credit risk analysis. This will involve liaising with the counterparty, ensuring the bank's client account opening process in the bank is synchronised with CRM's appetite/credit limits.

- The analyst will be responsible for the update and monitoring of all funds in the database, designed to track the NAV performance of the funds

- Undertake credit risk analysis of and assign credit ratings to funds/investment managers in different jurisdictions across EMEA.

- Establish legal documentation terms for the funds.

- Manage the risks the bank runs with the funds.

- Keep abreast of market and regulatory developments.

Skills

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) is preferred

- Previous relevant experience of funds' analysis ISDA/CSA documentation.

- Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge Essential - Financial background, knowledge of fund industry and derivatives products.

- European language is desirable - especially German.
