* Expert level of proficiency with Software Configuration Management systems from industry leaders such as Rational and Serena.
* Proven technical leadership skills, and experience in guiding and supporting complex enterprise-level transitions to new technology systems.
* Proven ability to design, architect, and engineer software systems from the ground up.
* Extensive experience and skills in coaching, mentoring, and training IT technical teams.
* Proven ability to implement IT best practices and efficient systems design in large corporate environments.
* Thorough understanding of SDLC and Configuration Management concepts, and the ability to put them into action.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Expected Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership and support for the transition from existing Software Configuration Management tools and processes to new ones.
* Guide and mentor the administrators of the new tools.
* Work with the tool administrators to implement best practices, corporate standards, and efficient processes.
* Create high-quality written technical documentation.
* Translate business requirements into effective and cost-efficient technical solutions.
* Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving.
* Analyze performance and capacity issues.
* Collaborate with other IT technical staff to make decisions and achieve results.
* Comply with corporate standards and policies.
