Needed immediately for a six month contract recruitment
The firm has a long established track record in their chosen sector and are very well known and respected in this area, having been established over 10 years ago. Although comparatively small in headcount they punch significantly above their weight, working on some very large deals (£B+) with the biggest industry clients and financial sponsors. They have an excellent reputation for being extremely professional and doing outstanding work, which leads to them being hired again and again.
They have an international focus, having worked on deals across the world, including the North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
They have an office culture that is refreshingly free of politics, and are a close knit team who enjoy working together. They also offer a good work life balance.
They are looking for an associate to come on board for an initial six month contract with the idea of going permanent after then.
The following skills will be required.
The Candidate
1.Corporate Finance lead advisory experience – preferably 2 years PQE if from accountancy firm.
2.Investment banker out of work, looking for short-term contract and maybe looking to go back into a bank once market picks up.
Experience Required
1.Strong Excel skills
a.Financial modelling and appreciation of deal structures
b.Operational modelling capabilities
2.Compco / Compac analysis
3.Dataroom management
4.Drafting of IM, sales documentation, teasers, pitches, business plans
5.Due diligence process management
6.Appreciation of deal documentation – Sale Purchase Agreements, Equity Documentation etc
7.Strong research skills
