Graduate School - Information Technology
This position will provide strategic web application development and support for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School as part of a team of developers.
Required Work Experience:
- A minimum of two years in software development.
- Object-oriented design and development.
- Strong SQL, database design, and data analysis skills.
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to all aspects of the software development life cycle using a practical application of industry best practices.
- Technology-aggressive individual who continually seeks to improve their skills and is interested in sharing their expertise with others.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and assignments.
Preferred Skills:
- Work experience with a product like Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Work experience with .NET, Perl, jQuery, ASP and XML.
- Interest in software development with C# and ASP.NET.
- Interest in project management and future leadership opportunities.
- An understanding of research and graduate education at a major research university.
