.NET Developer Application Support York, North Yorkshire Web Based Windows Forms Development Support C#
Our client is one of the world’s premier Microsoft Gold partners and a leading managed service provider that specialise in high end application and infrastructure management. Due to expansion they are now seeking a .NET Developer to join their Application Support Team, to be responsible for supporting a number of high profile customers and exciting technologies.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:-
- Be involved in change and release management processes, deploying resolutions to software issues.
- Developing enhancements and new functionality for existing solutions.
- Working within a reactive environment, liaising with customers and working with internal support teams.
The successful .NET Developer have 2+ years commercial Microsoft development experience (including delivering web based applications). You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of customer service.
In addition you will possess the following skills and experience:-
- Experience of Developing and Supporting Web and Windows Forms (based .NET enterprise applications using C#).
- Ability to troubleshoot incidents independently.
- Web development skills.
- Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
It would be highly desirable to have experience in any of the following:-
- Working within an ITIL environment
- Biztalk
- SharePoint
- MOSS
- EPiServer
- Legacy ASP
