We are a dynamic software company in County Kerry, we are expanding and are now hiring a .net software developer This is a permanent job, based full time onsite in Kerry.
Role:
Working as part of an existing team of software developers you will be involved in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions. You will be working as a member of an Agile software development team and you will play a key role in creating high performing reliable code using .net and in C#, for use in enterprise scale web based applications for the USA market.
You will be fully involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, using our object and component methodology and technology. This role is for immediate hiring. A competitive salary plus a good benefits package is on offer.
Essential Experience
You should be qualified to degree level and have a minimum of 2 years, and ideally have circa 3 – 7 yrs experience, of commercial Microsoft software development experience, ideally in web-based application development on the Microsoft development platform. You should be skilled in Microsoft .Net development, with some experience of Microsoft SQL Server, ASP, C# or Visual Studio.net.
You should be able to work on complex and fast moving software development projects using standard systems development lifecycle processes, and you should understand relational database concepts. Knowledge of object and component methodology and technology would be desirable.
Experience of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / 2005 including Stored Procedures, or any knowledge of Web Services, ADO.NET, Custom control development would also be very desirable experience. Analysis and design skills with Microsoft web based solutions would be desirable also.
