.NET Developer VB6 Get Banking

Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a .NET Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a worldwide well known niche software and commodities house. They supply to most of the world’s commodity houses as well as brokers and hedge funds. They work in .net 4.0 with a complex platform developed in C# in a web environment in WCF, WPF and Silverlight 5. They are also a Microsoft Gold Partner some of their older systems are written in VB6

The .NET Developer will work on a commodity trading and risk management solution. The development team has grown considerably in the past two years and are looking for a talented developer to be pivotal in ensuring the quality of the product by joining the maintenance team.

As an awesome problem solver, you don’t just fix bugs, you destroy them and revel in creating a stable product and happy clients. You are also a great communicator and enjoy liaising with clients and other members of the development team.

My client has customers worldwide so there is also the opportunity to travel and develop your client facing skills. My client also offers excellent training and development in a technical strong environment.

This is a role for a .NET Developer who has serious development experience and is looking to get into financial services or a demanding technical environment and gain some serious experience client facing. The atmosphere is relaxed and training is strong. Also jeans and t shirts are the norm.  You will be given the opportunity to work at the pinnacle of trading technology working with a group of particularly experienced and clever individuals.
