.Net Developer with IIS
On behalf of our client, an international IT provider, we are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with IIS for a permanent position in Zurich.
Responsibilities
· Develop and write programs using commonly used use concepts, practices and procedures
· Converts project specs and statements of problems and procedures into Software
· Implement business requirements into the current applications
· Review, and makes changes to programs using various methods, while applying subject matter
· Conduct testing of programs and appropriate software to meet the clients expectations
· Delivers written descriptions and flowcharts
· Ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications, including correction of any identified errors in the existing programs
· Working closely with the business, creating estimates and communicating the status of the work daily
· Responsible for tracking and reporting
Skills Experience
· Highly skilled .NET Developer with 4 to 6 years experience
· Significant experience with the design, development and maintenance of systems (Oracle 11g PL-SQL, Unix Shell-Scripting and DOS Scripting)
· Experienced with IIS-Configuration
· Previous experienced using Control-M Enterprise Manager and Batch Design
· Knowledge on Windows Administration
· Knowledge on incident management
· Added advantage to possess knowledge on FTP, FTPS and different protocols
· Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks
· Experience in the Financial Services Industry
· Strong analytical, conceptual and client facing skills
· Previous exposure to complex and demanding projects
· Independent working style and ability to manage delivery with excellent communication skills
· Fluent in English and proficiency in German would be an advantage
Qualifications:
· Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent
