Technical Lead / Senior Developer:

 

Technical Lead position within the HIE Technology team. Position will be responsible for the technical implementation of projects to support the HIE program of work.. Full system lifecycle required including development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable solutions. This position will also include managing technical tasks with a team of developers and working with technical stakeholders from other groups.  The candidate will be expected to follow standard development methodologies and practices. Responsibilities will include:  Analysis, design and architecture, development, and implementation of new HIE initiatives using C# and ASP.NET. Must demonstrate strong ability to lead other technical staff towards common and aggressive technical goals.

 

Candidate must possess or demonstrate: Good oral and written English communication skills, A team player attitude and must demonstrate an understanding of OO principles and practices.  8+ years overall IT experience including database development, architecture and design, and distributed applications development. Candidates possessing the following are preferred:  Experience with SQL Server, Microsoft development technologies with 3+ years experience using C# / .NET.  ASP.NET/C#, high-performance WCF and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript are required.  Component Object Oriented Development and an ability to understand and write UML models is a strong requirement.  Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of development, testing and implementation.  Experience with BizTalk and SQL report development is a plus.  3+ years industry experience an advantage. Education: Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related IT experience required.
