The FBI's Training Division (FBI Academy - Quantico, VA) is looking for individuals preferably possessing a Top Secret security clearance who are experienced software developers.  This is an exciting opportunity to work for the FBI and be part of supporting the FBI's training efforts by applying information technology solutions to the FBI's training programs and business requirements.  Due to the small size of the team, candidates should have a broad background with various technologies and be prepared to take on a wide variety of projects.

Technical Experience required by this position includes practical experience developing enterprise solutions employing all aspects of the software development lifecycle such as requirements analyses, design, development, and testing.  Demonstrated hands on proficiency using Microsoft technologies especially C# or other .NET languages.  Should have a solid understanding of object oriented development and layered application development.  Candidates should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to cope with diversity and complexity in a rapidly changing environment.  Candidates must be able to assume a leadership role and successfully manage projects from start to finish.  Candidates should have the ability to support requirements gathering efforts by working with stakeholders to define system requirements.
 
Required Skills
 
7 years Software Development and systems analysis experience;
3 years .NET Web Application development;
Excellent analytical and communication skills;
Solid understanding of software engineering principles to include OOA, OOD, layered application development, and design patterns.
Ability to meet deadlines and make adjustments as necessary;
Strong interpersonal and team relationship skills and able to work well individually or as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies through self study;

Experience working with the following technologies:

•NET 2.0, 3.5, 4.0 Framework;
•Experience with .NET 4.0 technologies (WCF, WWF) is preferred;
•Web Technologies (AJAX,  ASP.NET, Client Side Scripting, CSS, JQuery);
•XML;
•SQL;
•Oracle Databases.

 
Other beneficial skills

Experience writing software requirements documents;
Experience writing technical design documents;
Project management experience in all phases of development life cycle
 
There are no relocation benefits available for this position and candidates must be US Citizens able to pass the FBI background investigation to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
