.NET WPF UI Developer – Trading Systems recruitment

Role description:

The candidate will be part of a global development team with responsibility for designing, building and deploying rich client trade blotters/tickets as part of a new trading platform in a series of phased deliverables.

Key objectives critical to success:

•System analysis, design and development of Trade Blotters/Tickets

•Working with Front and Middle office users to gather requirements and provide support

•Working with Core teams, utilising reusable components as a enabler to rapidly deliver functionality

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

•Excellent interpersonal skills

•Good team mentality and communication skills

•Flair for UI design and a passion for working on cutting edge of technology

•Desirable fixed Income trading business (Derivatives, Bonds, Futures, FX)

•Front office trading system development and support in various asset classes

•Strong C# developer ideally from OO background C++/Java

•Strong WPF and proficient in use of Expression Blend is a must

•Knowledge of .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework

•Strong knowledge of design patterns i.e. MV-VM

•Full software lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)

•Trade processing system design, data modelling and workflow

•SQL / Database development

•Messaging (MQ / JMS / TIBCO)

•XML, Spring

Desirable

•SCRUM/Agile development methodology and use of Maven, SVN, Jira
