JOB DESCRIPTION:
The contractor shall provide a Network Operations Admin to provide support for all components, including but not limited to:
· The contractor shall provide customer support services during primary working hours Monday-Friday from the hours of
0730-1600 LOCAL
- Manage all network technical services and devices for all local personnel
· Implement DOD/DON policies, procedures and standards, and ensures conformance with
information systems standards
· Provide Tier 2 an Tier 3 technical support to all users and interface with vendors and external support services.
- Provide Active Directory Support / Provide Microsoft Exchange Server Support / Provide Basic Networking Support
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
At minimum, contractor employees shall have the following knowledge and skills:
· General knowledge of hardware and software management principles, methods and procedures
· Knowledge of and experience with network and email account management
· Skill in utilizing spreadsheets and databases for data manipulation
· Effective communication and customer service skills
· Knowledge and experience in equipment configuration and maintenance
· Knowledge and skill in analyzing and resolving technical issues
· Skill in installing and manipulating servers, hardware and other equipment
· Effective communication and customer service skills
· Knowledge of file formats used in delivery of web content
· Applying Internet security principles and protocols such as secure socket layers and encryption
· Knowledge and experience in administration of Active Directory
· Knowledge and experience in administration of MS Exchange Server 2003
· Minimum of 3 years experience
· Certified as identified in DOD 8570.01-M (IAT Level 1)
· Receive appropriate security clearance (SECRET)
