Network Administrator
Seeking a Linux/network Administrator to join our team. This person will work with other members of the systems team to ensure that the company's server and network infrastructure and all applications therein are running within established guidelines according to industry best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Linux/Network Administrator Requirements:
Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, or MIS degree
3-5 yrs experience with Linux administration, configuration/deployment and troubleshooting of Linux servers(CentOS/RHEL
preferred), web servers and database technologies
Strong core knowledge of Internet protocols (e.g. SMTP, HTTP, DNS)
Experience building and maintaining stable production systems.
Experience in security concepts and best practice.
Experience with virtualization technologies.
Experience in more than one administrative language such as Python,
Perl, Bash scripting.
Strong understanding or experience in the following highly preferred:
Apache, MySQL, OpenLDAP, Kerberos, Tomcat, AMQP, Asterisk, Freeswitch, OpenVPN, SMB, FTP, NFS
Cisco switches/routers/firewalls
Web Development
Highly reliable/available hardware and software solutions.
Enterprise backup and monitoring solutions
RPM packaging
